We are all excited about hashing in Colombia for InterAmerica's Hash Labor Day weekend 2022!
I have assembled some pre and post tours options below. Since hashers are unique, I know none of us want to get in a tour with kids or other un-like-minded folks. So the options I have below are all PRIVATE HASHER-ONLY departures. We have several options with G Adventures, which is one of the top adventure travel companies out there. Some are physically demanding (multi-day hiking treks) and some are more moderate. I've also just added a Bogota and coffee country tour from Cosmos.
We will need a minimum of 8 hashers in each departure to get the green light to go on the G Adventures groups. I'll keep a running list under each tour showing how many are booked to date. Most groups max out at 16 hashers.
We also now have a private tour departure with Cosmos Tours for Bogota and the coffee triangle. Perfect for the Java H3 crowd! That one will need a minimum of 15 hashers and max out at 44 hashers.
I have not built in flights to these tours because I'm trying to allow you the flexibility to stay in various locations longer than the base tour calls for and let you make your own decisions about when you want to arrive in Medellin. Don't forget, the Okinawa hash trail will kick things off on Thursday, September 1st if you want to participate. After the tour is booked, I will get with you about adding flights or extra room nights if needed.
Booking procedure:
Upon receiving your rego, I'll book you into the group and confirm your spot. Then I will contact you to discuss any flights you want to include in the package, any extra room nights you may want to add to the package and get you a quote on Trip Protection Insurance. Some aspects of this insurance is mandatory for these tours, but with the uncertainty of travel lately, it is wise to protect yourself financially against the known and unknown. I will also need you to Email me a photo of your passport to supply the tour company with the information they request.
Do not purchase your flights until the tour you have singed up for has reached it's minimum requirement.
Note:
Once again, these departures are PRIVATE hasher-only departures I specifically requested for hashers to better fit our event schedule and to give us a kid and prude-free experience. The departure dates below will not be found on the G Adventure website. The G Adventures web site is for the general public.

Physical Grading: Average
G Adventures is offering hashers two private, hasher-only groups on this tour that combines coastal beach communities and jungle hiking. The maximum group size is 16 hashers per group.
"Take it from us — the nature of Colombia and the Caribbean is like nowhere else on Earth. On this one-week trip packed with active highlights and laid-back moments, you’ll get the best of beach relaxation and wilderness exploration. Beach time and Tayrona National Park are on the bill here, including chances for hikes down picturesque trails and spending time with the Gotshezhy Wiwa Indigenous community to learn about their customs and traditions. Get back to nature in the jungle town of Minca — it’s the great outdoors with a chill Caribbean twist."
